FAQ

How will COVID-19 affect the shipment of my orders?

Shipping from some of our global supply centers and the United States Postal Service (USPS) has been experiencing large delays due to COVID19.

As a result, we are experiencing delays across all our shipments, not because of the shipping speeds from our craftsmen, but because many countries, including the US, have been severely compromised internally. Expect 5-12 day delays on top of our standard shipping times. We apologize for the inconvenience, but our products will reach you!

Why is my order taking so long to get to me?

Wabi-Sabi Aesthetic takes pride in the fact that many of our products are produced by local artisans and craftspersons around the world. Unfortunately, this often means that production begins after orders are received, which adds a day or two to the order fulfillment process. Our artisans may also be located overseas, which may also extend delivery times. Once the products are made, order processing time itself might take up to 1- 4 business days. Processing includes checking, packing, and sending your orders to the post-office.

We appreciate your patience and support for our Aesthetic. Rest assured, your order will reach you. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us at support@wsaesthetic.com.

Why is my order split into separate packages?

When you order multiple items at a time, they may be shipped separately as they are shipped directly from our various artisans' studio locations. You may receive one item before the next. We do this so that you can get your items as fast as possible and to minimize the carbon footprint associated with central processing. In these cases, you will be provided with two or more tracking numbers.

Why does my item look different from what is shown on the website?

Since many of our items are made-to-order, they are often deliberately made with subtle differences to highlight the fact that each one is made with the care and creativity of the respective artisan. In line with our philosophy, Wabi-Sabi also does not try to mask any imperfections that may occur during the production process- in fact, we embrace them. Any other inconsistencies can be attributed to the angles and lighting used during the photoshoot.
